‘CAFÉ MUCHO GUSTO’
AKA BÉBO ESPRESSO MARTINI
- 30 ml Bébo
- 30 ml Fresh espresso
- 30 ml Vodka (alternate: try with Mezcal instead)
- 1 bar spoon fine sugar
PREPARATION: Shake all ingredients
with ice and fine strain into a stemless martini glass hidden in a coffee cup.
GARNISH: 3 coffee beans
MR. BÉBO'S
OLD FASHIONED
- 30 ml Bébo
- 50 ml Spiced rum
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
PREPARATION: Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, then strain over a big block of ice in a tumbler. GARNISH: None
CANTANTE
- 30 ml Bébo
- 30 ml Red vermouth
- 30 ml Rye
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 dash Chocolate bitters
PREPARATION: Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, then strain into a coupe glass. GARNISH: Cherry
BÉBO WHITE RUSSIAN
- 50 ml Bébo
- 50 ml Vodka (alternate: try with
white rum instead) - Whipped coconut cream (Prepare a mix of coconut cream and cream (1:1) with a bit of sugar and whip it up)
PREPARATION: Fill a tumbler with ice cubes, pour Bébo and vodka onto the ice, stir it well and gently layer the whipped cream on top. GARNISH: Roasted coconut flakes
BÉBO & TONIC
- 50 ml Bébo
- Top up with tonic
PREPARATION: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes, pour Bébo over the ice and top with tonic. GARNISH: Lime twist
BÉBO BOULEVARDIER
- 30 ml Bébo
- 30 ml Amaro
- 30 ml Bourbon
PREPARATION: Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass, then pour over a big block of ice in a tumbler. GARNISH: Orange zest
CORTADITO
- 50 ml Bébo
- 70 ml Almond or coconut milk (mix canned unsweetened coconut cream with water 2:1)
PREPARATION: Fill a tumbler (or a coffee to-go cup) with ice cubes, pour Bébo over the ice and add the milk of your choice. GARNISH: Coffee cookie
Bébo is available in fine bars, restaurants, and possibly, a few innocent-looking cafes. Rumor has it that Bébo may be discreetly obtained
